Safety Equip - Group Purchase?

Many racers may need to buy new helmets and head and neck restraint systems before next seasons racing. Any thoughts on forming a LSR group to make a single purchase from a major vendor or manufacturer -  Simpson, Bell, Stand 21, Safety Solutions etc.

The idea is good, but the logistics would be terrible. Racers have favorite brands/Companies. If we were all buying the same thing maybe it would work.

Instead of a one time buy maybe LSR folks could get a discount using some type of "membership code" and the offer would remain good for a certain period.

The number of interested parties spread out over multiple companies selling the same product would be a problem. Think of 300 racers split 2 or 3 ways for orders. Not a lot of clout.

A lot of leg work and coordination would be required.
