It Runs, Electrical gremlins from Bonneville have been finally Banished! (for now).

Seems like every year I go to the salt I eat an Alternator. When it was a Daily Driver this Truck was never a problem, routine maintenance.

You're probably right Eric. The Golden Knights will probably want to jump off of it when it takes off.

Well, it looks like I'm not going to make it to the April meet. I ordered rocker arms for the blower motor back in October and I still haven't gotten them, my money back, or an answer when I call. I believe I got ripped off for $2,500! That hurts really bad. :xHopefully I can make a later meet. I may still come down to cheer/ voulunteer.

Roddy,  I am sorry to hear about the rocker arm deal and that you won't have the car ready for the April meet.

If you need my persuasive powers or my resources to help "MOTIVATE"  them to get your money back or your rocker arms,, let me know,,,

Also, I always need help in my pit.. so if you come down,,, I will sure welcome the help and oh yes,, I have plenty of shade and drinks with me... Pepsi products of course (no diet coke in my pits....lol)

Charles, thanks for the sympathy. I have filed complaints with the proper authorities, hopefully the situation can be resolved. As for your offers, I may just take you up on the Pepsi.

I will stock the cooler with regular and diet drinks.

Now I am in a mad thrash,,, Last fall I made a removable cross member and had it powder coated, it was made to help support  a step pan for the Stude... I went down to my shop to measure so I could shear, drill and mount the step pan.. but to my surprise,, I can't find that darn  BRIGHT RED CROSSMEMBER... I guess I may run April without a step pan,, well probably do not need it for the Mile,,, but I am sure I will need it for
Loring and Bonneville.. ok back to the search.

Have you checked to see if you've already bolted it in the car???

I find as I become more mature I do things like that!

Might be under the car awaiting your attention. I too find age and memory do not mesh well.

I have torn both my shops apart looking for it and no luck,,,

PJ,, I did look under the car and NOPE it's not already installed,,,

When the sun comes up, I will look in the race trailer... no reason for it to be there,, but I batter look there too...

Oh well...I am sure it will be in the last place I look ( ya know as once I find it, I will quit looking )
