You don't think that you will need a fuel pump with N20
Any way have a look at rule 7B2.5
If you are running fuel class you need to be able to shut it off without removing your hands from the bars

I will have a fuel shut off switch for the N20 on the handle .

What I mean is would i need some kind of solenoid to shut off fuel from the main tank to the carb,or is the stock fuel tap acceptable for this?

It means you have to be able to shut off the fuel without taking you hands off the bars.  Many years ago I got caught out by that rule.  I'll assume your fuel tap is in the normal location under your tank.   My quick fix was to use an old handlebar choke lever and cable to the tap lever.  A small hole in the tap lever and it passed tech.  Wasn't rocket science but t worked.  I've seen solenoids in the line too.  But I'm not clever enough to be able to rig one up.
Get off the stove Grandad.  You're too old to be riding the range.

Yep
What Nortonist 592  said
You need to be able to turn it off from the bars for fuel classes
It doesn't matter what's in the tank, it's what class you run
So, drill a hole in the handle on the tap and run a cable up to the bars.
you could use a choke control, a decomp lever or a throttle off an old lawn mower
As long as you can turn it off without your hands leaving the handle bars
So, if you have to reach down to turn it off it is not legal for fuel class
Running a solenoid can be problematic on an older bike as you may not make enough electricity to keep it turned on
Have a look at the solution this guy has used

Thanks Fellows.

I think i will go the simpler cable operated route...one less solenoid to wire into the system :-D

Pingel valves and kill switches work well and are decently made ... they certainly are not shy about their prices.
