If they have 5 passes at Bonneville on them, then how could they be "NEW"?  "Slightly used", would be a better description.

Just my $.02.

Unh, maybe they're recently purchased and recently manufactured, ergo worthy of the descriptor "new", even though they have been run a few miles here and there.  Do I win?

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

Are the 23's you want drive tires or fronts?

And the drag race frontrunners look exactly like the land speed tires. Front runners are $150 ish and can be used as drive tire to near 300. I've gone 276mph on them. Actual land speed tires are about $430 each and are 6 ply. The 23 inch front runners are what is used on a top fuel FC and have a stiffer carcass and are a 1/2in. wider and should go close to 300 no worries. Goggle Goodyear race tires and you find the number to I.D. them so there is no confusion.

careful with recommending lsr front runners for drive tires...

Goodyear engineer Dave F. does NOT recommend them for drive
tires nor does SCTA.....Goodyear rep (Dave) highly recommended that
they NOT be used even for a front tire at over 260-270+.....even on a light
weight vehicle...
