Yea the cars a little hefty at 6200 lbs. and when we ran it last year they had us run out of the rookie line and"keep it under 200" .
I don't think we will look for any favors out there in Nov. and just put her in line according to our number , don't wanna Plymouth anyone off.
However the 511 will be right up fronte in the 2 line. :-D

The 200 mile line was started, takin away and reinstated after some cars nearly wrecked [ I made the motion to reinstate at a rep meeting] same as director Ok...ing a car to run out of 200 mile line, it's for safety.
With over 3000 hp it's easy to get out of shape when you hit the marbles.
But the driver should be licensed to drive over 200 and not an El Mirage rookie.

If the 200mph lane was created for Safety, then we should not let any cars or bikes capable of running over 200mph make a second pass at El Mirage. For Safety's sake of course.

Most don't make a second pass , at least the way the coarse has been in the last few years. The few 2nd passes I have made in the 511 have been a lttle scary lately.
Tiny , Freddie helped me make the car go , I'll have to ask him about whoa. :|

Don't forget you have an extra 300 feet now to shut down at El Mirage. Every foot helps.

Having witnessed the 66's 249 pass, I'd  PAY to see the 811 haul bunz at Elmo.

Maybe it could become a media event.

Alans 249 pass was epic , I don't know if we can go that fast at Elmo , but I think we will give it a shot.
Right now JN has top speed of the year at Elmo but I know Freddie is coming in Nov. And as we all know Alan can step it up too. And don't count out Bob Eaton.
We will change to a more sutible gear for the 1 1/3 mile and maybe step on it a little bit if the track in in good condition. It should be fun as it allways is in Nov.
But for now we are looking forward to the Oct. run next weekend with the 511 street roadster. Just trying to stay in the top ten with our hot rod.
