Too bad it won't work on my buell.  Unfortunately we do not have common attachment points on both sides to go off of.  :(

I tried to make one exactly like this, but it was too flexible to be accurate. I see in your description that yours is real rigid which would make if work well. It looks good.
Thanks for all the products you come out with Guy!

I have an idea, raffle one off and donate some of the proceeds to this great web site. I would bet a lot would be happy to donate to the raffle. Just a thought. Good for your tool and the landracing web site.

I'll put in my two cents' worth here.  Guy Caputo and his Tiger Racing already pay to advertise on landracing.com.  He's a long-time sponsor -- and I've specifically okayed him putting these "ads" in the Forum so that everyone can see them.  No huu-huu, no hassles, please.

Now if you wanted to offer one that we could use as a prize for a contest or quiz -- that'd be dandy.  But please, Guy -- don't feel at all obligated to do so.

Leaving in the morning for The Biggest Tattoo Show on Earth, then back to Bville for World Finals.

For the Chain Fine!! it dosent align the back wheel to the front which to me is the important thing, you want it to ride true,I find a straight edge and a Tape Measure or vernier works fine,The spacers in the rear swinger or rigid frame should govern the alignment to the engine or even the spacers in the engine to  the rear wheel, whichever!!

Just my thoughts Oz

I haven't ridden in years but I like the tool and think it would be a asset to anyone riding at high speeds to assure the alignment. I have designed many tools and fixtures over the years I spent racing and in the aerospace industry.

The only reason I suggested this raffle was to help both Tiger Racing and Landracing. I am a firm believer in good products and ideas. There are a lot of suppliers out there and I don't normally put them on this web site as Jon needs income from the racers and the few people that advertise.

Lets keep up the great support for this site and thanks to Tiger Racing for all they do.

Guy (and everyone):

We've suspended the monthly raffles and quizzes during the racing season, and hope to have the contests up and running again by November 2010.  I'm not sure what the quiz will be -- Glen, you and Bob and others are welcome (nay, invited) to come up with a good one.

Guy, once we decide what the quiz topic will be we'll request a donation, but I want it to be a really tough quiz to justify giving away an item with a price tag at about $70!  Maybe we'll have a tough quiz just in time for Christmas.  Thanks for your generous offer.  I want the "Alignment tool" to be received by the winner for a brave and hearty effort.

Guy,
Tool looks excellent.  Will you have any with you at Maxton for the October Meet?  I would like to try one for my Honda 250.  I need to be sure it clears my tail fiberglass.
