 2 years have gotten by us so quickley. Sometimes it seems like just yesterday, and other days it seems like forever since I have heard his voice. Whatever the case he is missed everyday, but I am blessed with 2 amazing sons who are more like their Dad than they would like to admit sometimes. We who knew Dave are the lucky ones! You will never be forgotten!!!

Having only seen Dave and meeting him briefly at the track in the early part of 08 I did not know him very well. But over the months I grew to really like the people and the atmosphere at Maxton .
I was sitting in line in September and saw the trucks roll . I figured a broken bone or something. When I saw the reaction of some of the people I lost it . Seeing how sad people were and how devastating it was for them was tragic .

I am no stranger to tragedy.I have dealt with it since a very early age. I can take it . But love is not something I am used to. .Seeing so many people crying and knowing they lost a loved one .Made me very very sad .

Thank you to all the volunteers

I don't think anyone who knew Dave or was there that day comes to the track without a thought and prayer for him. Things fade away, but not the memory of people like DaveO.

I never got to meet Dave in person. We had several phone conversations and he was always very helpful.
Dave O rides with me on every run, my ecu was modified by him.
