Wind has dropped, there's activity around the Ack Attack.  Rocky's gettin in and they're refreshing the ice in the intercoolers.  We could have a run soon.

2 mph tailwind at the 7 mile, wind zero at the three mile.  Course is clear and locked down -- Rocky is getting into the bike.  Hoping to run in a minute or two.

Pookie, I screamed through the at 28.864 and the mile at 28.831, and exit speed was 29.033.

Take that data and extrapolate it, someone, and figure out how many more miles I would have had to run to get the bike up to four hundred.  I was gaining as the run proceeded, right?

Rocky is being strapped into the bike now.  3 mph tailwind at the tower.

The engine is running on the Ack Attack bike.  Course is clear.

Canopy is presenting difficulties in being closed, now okay Akatiff in the push truck, moving the bike now!

SSS- at that rate it would have taken you 1,493 miles to never.

Rocky has passed out of the pits, approaching the one mile.

At the two and through, past the three mile

Entering the timed stretch and through the five

Chute out, slowing nicely at the 8

I can't hear the radio right now -- Steve Strupp is warming the Camaro engine about 50 feet from here and the muffler on the car sounds like it's all shot to heck.

So therefore I can't hear if the Ack bike team has decided what's next, nor when the mower will run.  I know the crew for the mower is on the site and was reported to be doing some work on the rig.  Obviously the Camaro is planning on running -- heat soaking the motor.

The Scott Horner/Heads Up Performance bike is running, starting this time from the far end and heading for the pits.  He's got about 10 minutes left in the 2-hour window.  He's running, remember, on the 232 record.

He's now left the start line and is moving.  By the three and moving fast, says Junior.

Past the four mile marker, entering the timed mile.

Entry speed  207    kilo  214  mile 213  exit 211

Does this mean there will be another class for Speed Week to accept Slim's scooter?

Next will be the Ack Attack bike.  Don't know how long 'til a run, but now you've heard what I've heard.

Okay, more -- Ack wants to run in the next ten minutes or so.  Scott Horner stopped at about the 7 on the way back here -- motor was overheating, so he's not riding back to the pit - his crew will recover him up there, over on the BNI course so Ack can have a clear course when he decides to run.  By the way, Horner completed his attempt with about 5 minutes to spare in the two hour window.
