Did you ever think you would witness a 400+ mph drag race! Many thanks guys for the run by run reports and pixs!!!

BTW: New/old pixs are posted to the albums so look there after this is over so you don't come down off the salt high cold-turkey!  :-D

Tire growth chart for some sizes - info from MT engineers and JCB book for GY's.

Anybody got some other data - like to see it!

Woody

Woody,

Thanks for posting the tire growth chart. Much appreciated.

I love the USA. How much longer will we be a free nation?

Asking questions is one's only way of getting answers.

The rational person lets verified facts form or modify his opinion.  The ideologue ignores verified facts which don't fit his preconceived opinions.

We'll probably run the open bike now.  There's about 54 minutes remaining in the one hour window -- but as long as the open bikes keep their ears open to the Spectre team -- they can get in a run or maybe two.  Scott is just driving the bike up the course to where he starts.

No word on Poteet.  I'll go ask.

That's a lot of runs over 400 mph, I haven't looked back to count them and they ain't done playing. All I can say from a timers standpoint this is heaven. Sorry I'm not there. James Rice is the man along with his brother  Alan for their great timing equipment and the time to do it. They deservie a lot of credit.

Hopefully everything is well mechanically. They need a 413 in the kilo and 412 in the mile. Sounds like the run-up from the highway side could be tough
