Earlier today Loctite put links to this forum and Jon's PhotoBucket album on their Facebook coverage.

And they said "We found rebar in the track... the Loctite utv pulled it out!" with this pic:

A couple more:

1: Jamie and his bike after the last run:

2:  The rhinoplasty efforts on the Spectre liner.

3 & 4:  Yet another rear end for the Demon.  Lindsay Strassburg from B & J Racing Transmissions is going to stick around to see how it works.

I sorta feel like a frog in a blender, tho.  I been goin round and round in circles all day.

Ray, I believe many of us would be glad to trade you our seat in the peanut gallery.  Great job, again.

I have seen a few shots of the Spectre nose but didnt find mention of what caused the damage.

Anyone know?

Close-- nota mile marker, but a side-of-the-course marker flag.  Black plastic drape, like a garbage bag, held in place with PVC pipe.  I know what such a marker can do at 200 -- I can well imagine what it'd feel like at dang near twice that.

The salt at the north end around the 8 mile is very thin, same on the south near the highway, all from mining,

So the thin salt on the ends of the course, probably won't allow for more dragging.
