...since the Nearburg record is NOT official in FIA terms until ratified......can Nish

Joe, the bike that Jamie rode yesterday was labeled M/PS/F 1650 and was a nitrous bike.  The other one is naked and has a turbo.  I don't know what size motor.

I don't know about the record not yet being "ratified" and therefore all Nish would have to do is better the Summers record.

Right now Rocky is riding down the course in a car, taking a course ride to see what's what.  Nish is at the far end - no word on what they're going to do.  Ack is ready to run based on what Rocky sees on the survey.

According to what I can find Jamie "Williams" owns the bike number being run. Are you sure you are correct?

Nish car is on the trailer and will return to the pits.  Rocky still driving the course and is heading back here -- wind is favorable so he might decide to make a run.

There's no hiding from the world out here -- Rocky is cruising the course to check it out -- just got "nailed" by the timing tower as going 104 mph through the timed stretch.

Would it be possible for you to get more information on the Spectre car, with pictures of the engine and drive set up.? Maybe a little info about the owner, where is the cars home located and a little about Amir.... Again thank you for all your effort and the money you have invested to give us the latest info.....   Mike R.

Ack Attack bike is getting ready to run.  Rocky is getting dressed, bike engines have been warmed, maybe 5-10 minutes 'til they're ready to make an attempt.

Scott Horner and Jamie WILLIAMS have two bikes here.  The nitrous bike is a 1397 motor, the turbo bike is a 1363.

Pookie, I'll get Ken Rappaport, a member of the Spectre team, to come over here later to give me some background for you.  Thanks for asking.

Mike -

The Spectre blog contains much of the information that you’re asking about - http://spectreperformance.com/blog/

There are several pages containing videos and pictures. At the bottom of each page click older entries. This page has good technical info from World Finals last year - http://spectreperformance.com/blog/page/5/

Mike A. reports they're starting the engines and about to make a run.  I hear one going right now.

Canopy is down.  Ack in the push truck.  I'm outa the seat to take a photo.

Bike is on the course.  Going through the gears.  Fire truck just caught an SUV down the course.  Rocky just put the skids down -- engines are off.

No idea of what's going on in the cluster-Ford.  Stay tuned.
