As Mr. Cook said earlier, "We're here to run!"  And run they did.  Fantastic.  Fantastic reporting and amazing that we got it here first.

Some people set records. You EARNED this one.  :-o   :-o  Big Congrats to the whole team. The race to 400 is now a reality. We, the spoiled spectators, can't wait for the Red Machine to return. One of the great LSR rivalries of alltime.  Bonneville, real racing for the love of SPEED. Just a fantastic year, 400mph cars everywhere and now a m/c right there. The racing is alive and well, lets hope the Salt itself can get better. What a week.  LSL

ABSOLUTELY STERLING ! ! ! !

Great job, Rocky, Mike & crew, the Cooks and also, lets not forget that TOP 1 did their part.

They may make the number larger on the scooter next time.

Arfons couldn't stay home when Breedlove was running.  Maybe the same situation here.

Denis, can you run in the snow?

Ray,
Please give Slim a $20 from me, and I'll reimburse you when I see you.
A few other folks might chip in to subsidize the extra days (plural)
food and lodging, plus airline schedule reshuffling and parking at the home airport, etc. etc. etc.

Much Kudos to all, and esp. Loctite corp for stepping up with great products.
Regards, and thanks again,
Jim

PS: Is Denis going to be ready for W/F?

Talk to the weather turkeys; no more rain until October 10 or 11.

I gotta split.  I have a car show to shoot tomorrow and I don't wanna be completely draggin when I get there.  And I have a new camera waiting for me at home.  :)  Don't tell 'em what it is, Doc.  Let 'em guess.

Bye for now

SSS, Nancy, & Ray, thanks for hanging out an extra day.  You all certainly made our day.

Just uncorked a bottle of plonk (caramel and vanilla tones with a velvety texture) in honor of all the big speeds Mr. Cook and company made possible.

Denis can't run at a SCTA meet.

The previous Record Holder can't pass tech. Ironic?

Even if he did, they aren't FIM.
