Message to Stainless:

TO PREVENT THE FLOW OF BLOOD

To prevent the flow of blood from lock wiring cut the twisted end off a little long and then bend the end back on itself. This prevents a lot of punctures and scratches.

Andy Sills just ran a 195++ -- the new record will be 196.117.  Dang, he did it.

And then Greg Waters bumped his old record  of 212 to 228.  Decent.

Bob Ragsdale's Studebaker in E/CBFALT moved the record fropm 201 to 208.

Mackichan & Sh\chulz runs 322 last mile, new record is 323.364 on a 310 record.  Congratulations.

Dean Sabat is on the course now in M/PS/BF 1000.  He's the laszt record return run this morning.

210.700 in the quarter   213.924  mile   shut off.

218.854 average of yesterday and today -- old record was 216.202.  DANG!  Another record.

Wow, the bikes have done good
Does anyone know what motor is in the NA bike that ran the record?

SSS- you are a great guy for helping out Andy.  You helped me out last year, and it means a lot to all of us.
Thanks to you and Nancy for being there and babysitting us n000bs along. Cheers on his record victory as well!

Here are the qualifiers from morning through about 1.30PM.  The qualifying runs are now completed, mostly, and the return runs will now -- but continue through at least four PM -- for those that just got to impound.

And first of all, yes, Skip Hedrich's car did qualify.  So did Max's bike liner.

992    B/FS    Skip Hedrich     348.234

1933   U/HH2   Ye Olde Dragon   192.124

Bike 2785   SCS/VBF   Max's liner   185.855 (open record -- all three miles were qualifiers - this number was the highest speed, in the last mile).

Bike 3371  A/PS/BF 750   Watters/Higgins, with Fireman Jim on board  223.846 (Jim had a wild ride - ask him!).

Bike 4225   M/PS PBF 350    Kamphuis Racing    53.383

Bike 9391   A/PF 3000    Bailey's Speed Shop    174.943

9996   XXO/BGC   Salt Cat   183.230

That's the list.  There will likely be a few more qualifiers, and also later I'll get you the racers that back up these qualifiers.  In the meantime -- we've left the track for the motel - to do laundry.  We'll be back lut there in a few hours.  Todd and Josh are still working on measuring Andy Sill's S1000 BMW and we need to get them back from impound.  See you in a while.

Oh, the Vesco car.  Yes, it's in impound, but pulled in as we were driving out.  I don't have their speed.  Will get it soon.

As for the Forstall/Knecum/DeLuca bike -- the motor was based on a 'Busa built big -- about 1675 or so cc.
