Mark DeLuca backed up yesterday's 249 with a 254 -- giving him the first N/A record over 250 -- 252!!!!!  Best wishes Larry, Steve, Laura -- and Mark.

In other news, most of the return run vehicles have been successful this morning.  There are only a few left here in the line -- the UVU car, Andy Sills on the BMW S1000, Dean Sabatinelli hasn't run, Bob Ragsdale and the 745 Blast from the Past Stude,  and Sam Dakin on the 6062 A PS PBF 1350 bike.  He ran 102 on a 100 1/2 record yesterday.

Sarno's car left lots of parts and glass on the track -- we'll be down for more than just a few minutes.

I've got a few minutes -- here are some Saturday morning in impound photos.

Here's Andy and Erin - as we were taping him up:

Ron Christensen's hangout -- Radio 1610 AM broadcaster:

This is the Dave Sarno car that just turned upside down.  The driver is out and fine -- although now the crew has gone missing. . .

The Ragsdale car -- that hurt the headers yesterday, got 'em fixed last night, and here they are in line for the return run:

Greg
Waters and Fireman Jim working on Greg's bike:

Eva's electric bike:

That's all for now.  More later.  I'll get all of the speeds once I'm back at the desk in impound.

Here are some sunrise from imnpound photos.  I've got more -- and will send the full files to you if you want one for your collection.  By the way -- I'm sorry that Mrak's bike was way in front of us in the line this morning -- and I didn't get any shots.  I'll find them in impound later.

No, the 'lectric bike is in the short course line -- not return runs.  I'll go ask how fast she's gone.

The bearing is in, and we just did a test start of the motors and checked the trans and shifting, all systems go. We're changing the oil and prepping Max's liner to head for the start line.

A couple of quotes

Max: "It sure runs good when it's not on fire"

Stainless: "It's easy to find the end of the safety wire, it's where the blood from your finger is"
