WOS - Upcoming highlights?
« on: August 01, 2010, 04:28:24 PM »
Hey, all -

Just curious if there's anything out of the ordinary coming up at WOS this year.  I know last year, the Healey team made a big splash, and brought in some folks who would have never have experienced Bonneville.

It's such a cool event - a bit more laid back than SW, and really well done.

Well, I guess we're making a LOT of progress . . .

Ha, a "normal" year is enough fun.  The Healeys were great and I enjoy the big diesels (well hell, everything!)

Its getting close . . . .

How about a couple of diesel streamliners going after the JCB record?

I'm leaving in the morning (Sunday) and will be there in the afternoon. After set up I'll have roving patrol on the long course from the 5 to the 7. Wayno

I agree with Freud - WOS is very friendly; venue and teams are very accessible - Debbie and I are going again this next week after missing WOS 2009 - hope to meet people I know and new ones and see some streamliners.
