Well the 2010 BUB meet is in the books and we had another great year!
I want to thank 55 Chever (Joe) for his kind words and all his hard work keeping everyone that could not make it to the event up to date on what was happening. I do not know how he did it and raced at the same time but great job Joe!
I also had the great fortune to meet Ray the Rat this year. Please help this hard working man with a donation so we can all benefit from his pics and on salt reporting for years to come!
It was truly my honor to work the 3 mile again this year and see old friends and make some new ones.
This year my Mom was able to escape the Admin trailer for a couple of days so I made her the official photographer for the 3 mile and told her to take pics of everything. Well she did so Bobs Salty Blog has 5 pages of pictures for the 2010 BUB event!
I have so many pictures I need everyone's help! If you see your picture on my website please send me an E-mail with your story! I would like to know your bike number, your name, where you are from and your results. Please also include any stories, dirty jokes, advise for new riders, website address to more information about your team and what ever else you can think of. If you include pictures in 600x800 JPG format I will add them to the site and give you all the credit.
I also urge everyone who has never visited Carman”s Black & White Bar to put it on your list for next year. This Gal has built a shrine to all things Bonneville and is truly a treasure to the land speed racing community! Thank you Carman for all you do!
I would also like to thank all the other volunteers at this years event. We had many new people and lots of volunteers who have volunteered for many years. I am proud to call myself a member of this team.
I also want to thank SSS for this website!
Lastly I wish to thank Denis Manning for the opportunity he has provided us all!
Thank you BUB!
Here is the link to the web site, just click on the links for 2010.
And PLEASE, send me your stories and info.
Until I see you all again next year, the 3 mile is cold.
Bob  cheers

Great fotos Bob, I saw a lot of those scooters, but missed a lot of them as well.   I remember why you and dad are always busy.

Bob, it took a while but I did make it through all the photos and it is so good to see all the folks and their rides at Mile 3. It makes not being there this year a little bit easier to handle but I would rather not have to do that again.

Congradulations to everyone that had their time to run their best at BUB this year!

OK, ok,  it's December 13th - we got 6° F  with 15 - 20 mph winds, so it feels like -12° F  shocked   I figured I need a little pick me up. The left over racing gas in the snow blower helped with that unforgeable smell the other day, but looking at all the great pictures that your Mom and you took Bob - did the trick.
Seeing all those smiling faces and unique machines got the smile back on my face, and its a brand new week.
Thanks for posting that Bob

Looking forward
