We have 1/2 bottle of jack Daniels left over from Speedweek. Miller and I are going to sit in the truck and watch this show. It will too cold to step outside, much like the Mojave Mile last time.

I'm trying to talk Rick into putting one of his 100s + HP 'busas in a pooter.

What a rough crowd with the hard liquor, this is a scooter event after all.  I personally have a sophisticated pallet and I will stick to Night Train or some Boone’s Farm.  Tony

Being a tea taster and blender I have to keep a good pallet.  I can’t play with the heavy stuff like you do. Tony

I duuno, guys. I'm glad people are worried about liability. There are three lawyers in the Federation's heirarchy and we have no intention of doing any thing to jeopardize our planned 2011 event on November 19th/20th. I have a pix of a guy on a Vespa running at Bonneville without an MX jersey, Levis, or high-top athletic shoes.

counciling attorneys / lawers  often cover their a$$, ..but dont care about the ramifications to others afterwords.

how about    " guilt by association"

I hope that they have a safe event, but would rather that they find somewhere else to PLAY.

To all who might find this interesting, back  in the day, Jack Costellas' 1st Bonneville record was set on  a Bonanza mini- bike.... Jack was the head of R&D at Bonanza, they fielded a team which ran at Bonneville, the Bonanza mini bike/scooter ran a 2 smoke Sachs engine and I think it ran in the 90,s mph. I'll bet even  Glen TGVOB- and head of the Bonneville Gestapo, along with his "mini me" Mkilgore didn"t know/remember that one... Hey the Asian mfg are building scooters that ride on the freeways at over 65mph ..  My self I like Cushmans and Mustang motorcycles... Mike R.

I always thought there wasn't an indemnification written that a half decent lawyer couldn't shred.  With three lawyers on board I reckon they should be able to write something that not even the BLM could fathom or shred.  The minimal safety requirements scare me.  I seriously doubt, should there be an accident, that the BLM will distinguish between a scooter and a streamliner.  Another backyard for them to play in would be nice.
Get off the stove Grandad.  You're too old to be riding the range.
