I am selling our SRT4 from the RaceDeck Racing stable

We had one mission when we built this racer - to set a record with the Dodge SRT in the Production SuperCharged/Turbo Class (F/PS). The end result is that we smashed the record with a two way average of 221.385 mph, and still hold this record today. On the return run our on-board GPS was showing a max top speed of 235.86 mph. Our SRT is now the Fastest 4cyl Production Vehicle on the Planet.

This car is set up properly and is very very slippery in the wind, at our top speeds the car was incredibly stable . I am confident that with more power we could have been closing in on 250 mph. Mopar Corporate, along with people like Larry Volk , Jeff Nish and Daryl Cox were involved in this build. the car is balance and stable, there are many spares as well.. Price $14,000  if you want the motor and computer mangment system we ran during the record run ( motor not in car)  it would be $27k firm .See the car at http://www.racedeckracing.com

No you read too much in to my reply however I have a 252 mph bike that I bought for $ 8,600  at an auction..for 14K I wanted it and could justify it..however for 30K (I am sure it is a great deal as well however not a steal that it would take me to buy it)  I was not teying to offend you or slight you.....

PS. I thought racers had thicker skin..must not be enough salt in your diet ..put it back together and get the record over 250 and a "AA" license

   Gee! If its worth $80K, thats what you should be asking! That way you can always have some wiggle room. But if Mopar put up the money, well just a big if, maby you should sell it to John for $14K, so the world could see how fast it really is. Mopar would like that too.

I am in the process of getting my 32 Roadster ready to run again, so that is my focus for now...and yes, Mopar did help quite a bit with this, both in one off parts and man power..there are lots of documents , magazine articles and corespondense records that are available. I personally have far more than what I am asking in it, and I know Corporate Mopar dollars are not cheap ( at least back in 2006  ) ...anyhow, This could put some on the salt with a properly set up car ( both for speed and safety) for not too much money. As all of you know it takes a great deal of time & knowledge to get these cars to go fast, go straight, and set a record.

Very good reply! Car looks like a good buy, but only as a complete item. Would take way too much time to start over as you know. Hope you sell it and I think theres no problem with the thickness of your skin. Glad my post didn't upset you.

Again I was not trying to insinuate it was not a great deal for the right buyer, for me I can drop 15K on it however not 30, we have a 200mph H class roadster on gas that has a time slip over 209mph however we only have about 5K and some time in to it..Not for sale however..must run it and get a 200 Club hat first..

Good luck on the sale of your car. It's a very nice piece and $30K is a hell of a deal for a car that runs 220+mph in the middle mile. If you ran it to the 5 mile you have to figure 235-240mph ?
