I went to the Newport beach ca. film festival showing of the movie with my son. It was an exelent film and brought tears to my eyes. many of the people responsible for the making of the film were there who spoke and answerd questions. It was a sold out audiance.A good number of Gear Grinder club members were there and I heard nothing but praise for the film. I strongly suggest any gear head see it. we were told that a DVD will be available soon.  Jack.

I've heard good things, too.  But I understand the movie is not set for "general distribution".  Unless those Ab Jenkins vampire rumors play out.

The Preview was great and it seemed most of the attendees were racer types.

The flim was more geared towards endurance racing at Bonneville but they sprinkled in a few scenes of our type of racing.

Overall a great film with something for everyone who enjoys landspeed racing.

We were told the, 1 hour 20 minute, DVD would be released in a couple of weeks and be available via the films website. Boys of Bonneville hats will be available too.

The link to the website is;  http://www.boysofbonneville.com/

PS: There's also a short trailer on the website you can view.

I don't know what you mean by "our type of racing". Apparently you have never been a part of our race team because 5 miles for us is endurance racing.
Records or parts, I didn't come all this way not to break something.

I just got it yesterday and watched it last night! Most excellent - will be viewed more than once!

Just placed my order, can't wait to see it. I only wish that I knew it was playing at Newport for the live showing.
