Got your pm Franey.  Will look for you when I get to the salt Saturday morning.  A nice dose of pushrod can only be good for me.  I want to check out tech a bit to see what my 500 might need to run production class at BUB.  Other than that, I am hoping to pick the mind of anyone who might be running, or have run, a Ducati 916 out there.  Not holding my breath on that one though.

Durn it, rain came about 10 minutes ago in West Wendover, so far it doesn't look like it made it to the flats.

The parking lot is pretty wet.  Weather forecast still looks ok...
It's just a case of too soon old and too late smart. Will Penny

Just got in to Wendover. Light rain out on I-80. Tech tomorrow. The boulevard is loaded with race trailers and motorcycles.

A lot of race teams in Wendover last night. Some interesting stuff that I would assume is here for the "run what you brung" course. Still dark here and we are going to get breakfast and then head out to the boat ramp to await the opening gun.

The weather doesn't look all that fine.  I see highs in the 60s tomorrow and windier than a son of a gun.  Nicer later in the week -- but what about these first days?  Anybody got an on-the-scene report?

a challenge. The fender made it through tech ... Curtis -  chief AMA tech -  said he was monitoring the build of my bike from the build diary on Landracing.com .. In reality he had reviewed the bike online before he saw it ...
