nice video Dallas, I even saw our old bus and one of the Abarths.  78 was my first year on the salt, 6 years after working on my first Bonneville car.  To that time I had only read about Bonneville, I was awe struck when I saw the salt and never got over the feeling.... hope I never do.

Great piece of history. It would be nice if it could be edited by someone to identify those that were interviewed.Who were the ladies? At that time Iwas not following LSR that closely. More into drags.

The dark haired lady is Marcia Holley. She was the first woman in the 200 MPH club. At that time she was married to Don Vesco. She was also a professional Hollywood stunt person. I am not sure whom the blond woman was.

Bob,

Entry into impound requires a white ticket. No one is denied that has one in their possession.
