Hi Glen,

No money right now to get the #300 car back out, so I thought I would do something constructive and take pictures with my old camera. I hope this is not too boring, if it is just let me know.

Thanks for asking,

Tom G.

Here is my last picture for the July meet.  If you have never been to El Mirage the racers are called in numbers of 25 to report to the starting line. This picture was taken from the pre stage area looking back to the starting line. All these cars and bikes are waiting for their turn to run. If you enlarge the picture, and look all the way to the left you will see an American Flag flying off the Announcers trailer, which is at the starting line.

If you liked these pictures, all I ask is for you to remember Landspeedracing.com, at some point in time during the year, and send them a little money to thank Jon & Nancy for the privilege of letting us having this great site.

Thanks,

Tom G.

PS. For those of you that don't know how to enlarge the pictures all you have to do is click on the picture and a larger screen will come up, then if you click on that picture again it will enlarge once more. Or you can double click the description under the photo and it will bring the picture up in another window.

Tom, I never get tired of pictures. It's almost like being there. Wish I could make all of the meets but it's a 800 mile round trip so I plan on a couple of Elmo's each year and of course the trips to the salt 3 or 4 times a year. Will you be at speed week?

Glen,

We miss you at El Mirage, but understand 800 mile round trips. At this point in time I am hoping I can spend a couple of days at Bonneville spectating and taking some pictures. If I am there, I will be sure to look you up.
