Just Amazing. I remember being there when Carr/Kaplan ran 300, and was stupefied that anyone could go that fast on Dirt. Just as impressed when Henry Louie went 200 on a bike. But 252? And in July? What will be the result in November?Good Heavens Man!! Hope to have enough time at the Salt to look you up and shake your hand, John....

I am not looking to go to Bonneville for SW as I will be visiting customers and our factories in Europe however with the new bike we might make either WOS or the USFRA event.

Henry Louie was one of the reasons I got invloved in LSR..

Thank you for the kind words.

Years ago when Vesco ran 190 at El Mo they told him to not come back. He was gong too fast.

Just goes to show all of us.........JN is in tight with the officials.

They congratulate HIM.

Michelle, u done a good tune up. Just don't share the secrets with John.

great run john but the chain on the pit bike looks to be a little loose.
The speed that you wish to achieve is only limited by the depth of your wallet.

John,

I wanted to go faster than Fogi with his 249 two years ago, that pass was unreal and on a similar not so great course.

Sometimes the stars align, shift points are made perfect, a good tuck and a lot of luck as well.

I think there are a few records of mine that are "safe" for a little while at El Mirage, the 240 unfaired, the 218 side car and the 252 run yesterday however there are very talented racers out there that have gone much faster on pavement like Bill Warner, Shane Stubbs, Lee Shierts, Tom Cates and a few others overseas however for now I will just try to figure out how to go faster in September.

John,

I'm not sure who shoots at the line. But, it might be Zane. I saw him setting up his cameras when I was putting my sleeping bag away. He does Mike Cook's websites. You may be able to get him thru Cook or there may be some contact info on Mike's sites.

BTW - Congrats on that great pass.
