Hey Everyone

I hope everybody enjoyed our tropical NC weather this weekend. From the monsoon on Fri. night to the blistering heat through the weekend. I didn't realize the old motorhome had so many roof leaks. Better yet over both the beds. I'm just glad the ole' wreck made it back home. Gotta lot of work to do to it between now and Sept. As always thanks to all that braved the inferno to make another successful event a pleasure. Got kinda hot on the photo deck in the afternoon so I tried hanging out underneath it for a bit of shade and pop out as the racers passed. Between shooing off the fireants and knocking my head on the deck a couple of times, it didn't work out too well. Well here's a few pics that I hope everyone will enjoy. Thanks again to all and hope to see you in late Sept.when the temps may be a little more bearable.

OK.....tell me again......that you "wheel on a stick" racers don't "fly" the sidecar wheel...........................

I thought that was a side-mount spare -- but it seems to be going around.

at an scta event  10% of the weight of the rig has to be on the sidecar wheel ---same rule applys for the ecta---guess they dont have a set of scales

I've teched sidecars at ECTA, and they do need to meet weight requirements. That CB750 does have a chunk of weight the 3rd wheel.

It is my understanding that this "sidecar" set a "sidecar record"..........just proof of what I have been saying and posting for years........It also shows that 10% in the sidecar is not enough......I would think
60kg (132lbls)  (as noted in the AMA rules) might be a better choice.....so the rig can somewhat be classified as a "sidecar"

As has been noted....."real sidecars have passengers"

Looking at it more closely, it may be that the sidecar hit a bump and jumped. The bike looks to be perpendicular to the track. But I'm just speculating.
