Not a problem, glad to help but.......I think I got it from a post here on the LSR forum and know nothing about where this shot was taken?

 I'm no expert but my eyerometer indicates the 988 car is the perfect shape for a FWD landspeed car!!!!  Jack, is that number available?

Just for the sake of the discussion, do you know the approximate date the Costella flat bottom vehicles started appearing


1991. suddenly this drop dead gorgeous, diminutively sized streamliner showed up at elmo. just sitting there it looked as if it wanted to go trans-sonic
SCTA officials at the time were betting on when it would go through the lights backwards.
who knows, how many records later, i think THEY had it backwards

i remember talking to Jack asking him for the reason of gluing nylon strings behind one of the front tires. measuring tire growth was his answer.
it was an aircraft tired, pre-steamroller solid wheel design

Derivatives of that car and even 2 wheeled versions continue to wreck havoc -- to this day
