THANKS to the Best Volunteers on the Planet!!
« on: June 27, 2010, 10:35:03 PM »
It was HOT!  And a lot of our "regulars" couldn't come.  Still, we had enough folks and they got the job done.  I wish I could name all of the great folks who pitched in (my aging memory prevents that!) - it's always astonishing to see how everything manages to get done.

Again, THANKS to ALL.  You are SO appreciated

Dan if it had not been fun,my fat ass would not have been out on the starting line all weekend.

You speed freaks are the greatest bunch of people around and I hope to see you in the fall.

For those who dont know who I am,I was the one getting close with you at the line with the belts and straps, and a few words of encouragement I hope.

Had been to five meets before but never enjoyed one like this past weekend,Thank You for having me!

Yep, the Volunteers were GREAT! A big thanks for staying out in the sun and heat so we could run. You guys/gals are the best.

So that was you, Woody, at the line Sunday when Nancy and I made some runs?  Thanks -- you were just dandy as a start line worker -- absolutely fine if it really was your first time there.

Thanks for helping us stay cool and calm, and keeping the lines moving without getting anyone upset.  It was great when there was a little indecisive indecision about who ran next -- and you helped us get to the start line without any bad feelings anywhere.

Thanks.
