Roof Flaps.............
« on: November 01, 2005, 02:55:30 PM »

We are considering putting roof flaps on Hooley's Stude for next year.  They would be a variation of the one's NASCAR uses.

One, are they allowed by the rules if they don't alter the contour of the top of the car??

Two, it seems like I've heard someone is already using them on the salt.  I would like to get in contact with anyone who is using them now or is thinking about them and/or see pictures of any on cars.

Three, does anyone on here care to comment on their use??

Thanks,

Sum

John Rains runs them on his Firebird.
They can only be tested when you spin out.
If you don't spin you will never know how well they work.

Do you know how to contact him?

Maybe we could put the car on the trailer backwards and run down the highway at about 90   .

Thanks and c ya,
