Bubble Canopy
« on: June 05, 2010, 05:19:03 PM »
Well after eight weeks I felt good enough to start working on my car again. I got one of the canopies out of the packing crate,( I bought three), and cut the rear section off. I used a cut off wheel and it cut like butter. In the picture, it`s just sitting on the car, but I`ll be making a frame around it next week and mount it to the body.
I bought these from Todd`s Canopies and not only did he do a great job making them, the price was much less than I was expecting.          Jeff

Nice canopy! Did Todd build you a custom one or is this off the shelf?  Tony

The canopy is now mounted on the body and the frame is on it. The louver panel on the left of the first picture has not been installed yet. I forgot to remove it before I took the picture. I`ve added a few more pictures on my website so you can see how I made the frame and cut the canopy to fit the body. I`m going to try to get to Maxton next weekend if I`m able, but the car won`t make it. I hope to get to meet some of you there.
