Wanted, old SCTA rule book for frustrated Limey
« on: June 04, 2010, 07:41:46 AM »
I've tried the SCTA website but when I click for rulebook it comes up "Page not found". Can anyone lend me an old (2008-2009) book so I can make a start building my bike? Or maybe scan and email me the relavant pages? I'll be running my 1942 Indian Scout in Vintage Engine Gas. If anyone could be kind enough to post me a copy, I'll refund postage and return it as soon as I've photocopied it. I'm not bringing the bike over until 2012, when a bunch of us from the UK are shipping a few bikes over. Thank you.
My address is:
Chris Ireland,
29 California Crescent,
California,
Great Yarmouth,
Norfolk,

England    email editor@britchopper.co.uk

And yes, I do live in California, it's a tiny village by the sea, and got its name when someone found some gold coins back in the late 1800's at the time of the California Gold Rush.
Don't push me, I'm close to the edge.

A good idea would be to join SCTA and get a current rule book. There have been changes since 2008 and 2009. They will send a rule book with your membership.

California kid, try
http://www.saltflats.com/cgi-bin/store/agora.cgi?cart_id=2814487.15756*Qp8_L7&xm=on&product=Books-N-Stuff

you can order the rule book there.  Or you can wait until the SCTA gets their site fixed.  I just checked... it is still broke, I will PM Dan

All,

The "need a rulebook" button is AFU.

I tested the new shopping cart and was able to order through that link. Chris, give it a try.
I emailed the web people to give it a fix.

BTW, I also tested the rule change/clarification form. It is still broken. I told the people in charge that down for a month is not good.

Good luck,

Update:

The "need a rulebook" button is now repaired on the website.

Thanks to everyone for the heads up.
