June Volunteers
« on: June 07, 2010, 09:32:14 AM »
A reminder to everyone to let me know if you're going to volunteer for the June meet.  Remember to let me know if you're racing, what position you prefer, any restrictions on your time, etc.  I'll pull a schedule together the week before the event, once I know who's coming.

Thanks

Oops.  I forgot to mention that several of our regulars won't be able to make it to the meet, so we NEED folks who are ready and willing.  We will train, so don't worry about that!

I hope this is the way to contact you -- or post the right way. I'm planning to be there, but want to run the Triumph early Sat. & Sun--if possible. Ken

Dan, Nancy and I intend to be there as per usual.  I think it's safe to say that we don't have a preferred position, but the traditional missionary position is fine.

Oh -- you meant what volunteer jobs will we do.  Oh, yeah -- well, I'll inspect bikes and Nancy will do the M/C safety garb.  We intend to arrive in time to be there Friday morning so therefore can be available to help set up, if necessary.

We'll both be riding bikes this time, but since we're not chasing points -- most likely only a few runs for each of us.

There -- is that good enough?

I thought Missionary position was in a big black cauldron with a fire under it,  surrounded by hungry natives. You can leave your hat on.

Guys -
We're still a bit light on volunteers for the June meet.  If anyone else wants to work with us please let me know.  I'll be putting the schedule together early next week and I need more folks.

Thanks

You have my commitment, and it is looking like Dad may be coming, he may be willing to help out somewhere. I will check with him on that. It would most likely be the same 4 hour shift on Saturday, since I imagine he will be helping me with the Escort.

I was hoping we'd see you same time, same channel.  And, as always, thank you for your help.  Nancy sure is a sweetheart - and I guess you're OK too.
