motorcycle engine stand

Saw a post regarding the Harbor Freight 1000# stand...had a metric engine in it.....please excuse my ignorance..but will a 98 Harley Evo engine fit on this ?? with reasonable modification?? Thanks for taking the time.    Doc

I have the HF engine stand and made adaptors to fit my Suzuki engine mounts. It was merely a matter of cutting and drilling some angle iron. I don't know where the mounts are on your engine but I am sure you can make adaptors to fit the case. For the $39 (small one) or $79 (large one) you can't go wrong. In this area that's about what the raw material will cost.
