Great meet!
« on: May 17, 2010, 04:39:52 PM »
My hat's off (and my helmet is tipped) to all the volunteers that put on such a great race!  The improvements over last year were huge!

My new nickname for Starter-Dean is "the enforcer"  :-D  Dean and the other starters were making sure everyone was suited up and ready to go three cars back and this made for a lot of runs.  ALso a great job done was at the pre-stage tent.  Something as simple as hanging a sign of what numbers were being staged made it a LOT EASIER for me to know when to line up (and when to stay out of the way).  I noticed a concerted effort to announce both on the FM 88.7 station and on the CB what numbers were being staged and this made it a lot easier to know what was going on and when to be ready.  These improvements alone (I'm sure there were others!) made it a much more enjoyable meet.

Thanks again everyone.

Yes indeed!   A big thanks to all.  When Dean starts to yell down the staging line you tend to think crap! theres a headwind coming up!
Get off the stove Grandad.  You're too old to be riding the range.

I just got the results from Dan Warner - and will have them linked soon.  It'll be on the home page as well as in here.
