Bum a ride?
« on: May 10, 2010, 03:12:17 PM »
Well, our 1650PP wont be ready in time for the first El Mirage meet.
But, I am looking to get some points.

Anyone out there willing to let me pilot an MC ride for Saturday?
Points will go to SDRC of course  :-D

I'm going to beat the begeezus out of my ride with a ball peen hammer. I let you know how it felt when I'm done. :-o
Hmmm . . . so is this why your ride won't be ready? :-D

Good luck on the points chase.  I was hoping to fly out to Elmo this weekend, but my dad goes in for knee surgery on the 17th.  Maybe November - a two-day event makes it worth the air fare.

Well, I guess we're making a LOT of progress . . .

Haha, no that's not the reason, but it may be by the end of the week.  :-o

It looks like we may take one of are other bikes and run a different class instead.
Need to fab some parts between now and Thursday to make it, but I will stay take
any offers to pilot another ride. Maybe my buddy Noonan needs me to help him on points a bit.  :-)

I have two Turbo bikes and hope to have both there and running, one is ready to go and the 1350 blown bike I still have to dyno it...Papi if I put you on a Turbo Busa for Elmo you would turn that Cowasawkey in to a parts/pit bike..

See you there and good luck

Well maybe if I pilot one of those bikes for you and Moreland, I can show you what a real record looks like.

For sure. We are still only 650APS-F for points only. It looks like we might make the July run with the 14, then off to SW.
I would sure like to pilot an additional ride right now. The 650APS-F is like LSR in slow motion.  :-)

Papi,

Once you get you ZX14 over 200 mph at Elmo you can run in the 200mph lane as long as you have run 200 in the class you are entered in.
