Ray,
SCTA and AMA have very different rules. leathers that pass AMA might not pass SCTA.  For SCTA the leathers must be 100% leather.  No stretch panels and no air holes.  I suggest you post this in the SCTA events sections section not Bubs.

Hello,
I'm kind of new to this, but I have a question on leathers.
Are the "speed humps" that are on the back of roadracing suits allowed in AMA?
thanks,
Bruce

Bubs rules do not say anything about speed humps not being alowed and many folks use them.

The SCTA only allow "fairing humps" in the partial streamlining class.
Get off the stove Grandad.  You're too old to be riding the range.
