Thanks for posting the link.  Bill's a great guy and, obviously, one hell of a racer.  What does the future hold??!!  I'll bet Shane and Scott are not likely to just sit back and say "Oh well"!

Great story and congrats to Bill and his crew.. :cheers:

They need to correct the facts however, Bills 272 is a record and the other was just a top speed.

Bill I am sure is about done with the repair job on the Mighty machine and will be ready to hopefully lay down a greater number at the next meeting.

Shane has come so far quickly and will need a perfect run at Maxton to beat the 272 speed of Bill.

What can they run during a meet at Loring with the extra 1/2 mile.. :-o

That is incredible.  I'll bet that the runway looks awful narrow at 270 mph.
