I'll try to take and post more photos this time, too.

Amanda's planning to come down with me again. I'm signed up for the second part of my Java class so us gals won't arrive until late Friday night or Saturday morning but at least we can stay through till Monday morn this time! Amanda did great with the pics last meet so I'm going to put her in charge of that again. Maybe I'll see if she'll jump on here throughout the day and drop some pics & a post or two.

I'm going to try to make a few passes so she'll have a little down time chillin in the beemer. haha

I *might* be able to do some saturday morning tech but that would mostly be dependant on being able to throw a placeholder in line for me. I prefer to run when it's cooler for my own personal comfort so I guess we'll see how the weather turns up.

See ya soon!

Hopefully you guys/gals can run at Maxton with good weather..El Mirage is under water and not looking like it is going to happen..more storms as well.  We will know the day before..if it rains out then we atleast have longer to prep for the next meet.  cheers

On 9-27-08 we lost a great friend and fellow racer, he was the BEST, he helped anyone with anything at anytime.  His name is Dave Owen and he will be missed by all that knew him and I am glad to have met him.

Seeing him at Bonneville during 2008 Speedweek was the tops, Dave was in awe of the salt and as usual was there helping out anyone who asked..simply put we lost a great man who will be missed by all.

I'm working hard to avoid that.  First of all, I'm just doing a tiny little shot - 50 HP for this meet.  If it works well I'll try 75 for the June meet (points strategy!).  Also, I'm taking the car to Wayne's for a dyno tune to try to make sure it's rich enough to stay happy.  Still, the rods are the fuse in this engine.  So no guarantees but HOPEFULLY.......

I have a few trips lined up and Maxton may be one, I have been there twice however would like to perhaps hit up Loring??

ECTA racers were great and treated me awesome..well except one however it was to be expected.. grin

I came a way with one of those nice Green hats however..

With the awesome speeds that Bill is putting down and Shane too I might be the old slow guy.. cheers

Heck I am already the old slow guy.. cheesy

Ms. Dross, If May is anything like April was, there may be an abundance of volunteers and I would be honored to move your bike or marker if it made it possible for you to provide a more needed service. Look forward to seeing everybody soon.
