Charles, it looks great.  Before you paint it make sure you have a provision (hook or eye bolt) mounted somewhere up front for towing the car off course.  I didn't and caught heck from the course workers.
I welded a 5/8 allthread connector bolt behind the front air dam and put a eyebolt into it.
On the Guam Bomb, Terry Hunt welded a vertical tube dropped into the body to accept a pin.  The problem with that is that the course safety workers won't have the pin to drop in it, which is why I went with the eye bolt which is double nutted to the connector.
The problem with pushing is they may or may not have a push bar that lines up with your car.
Waiting for the tow rig to drive five miles to remove the car when it doesn't clear the course to the return road will not make you popular with anyone on the salt.   Bob

Bob, yes after a previous discussion with you and Gary H,  I have installed two large 5/8 threaded "forged" eye bolts through the air dam into the front frame.

This serves as a my tie down location in the trailer, as the car is so low, I will not have to lay under to hook axle straps and tie down hooks.

It will also serve as a place for any emergency crew to latch on with a simple tow strap hook.

I have mounted a combo push bar/chute mount on the rear as well.

I also have eye bolts under/behind rear bumper mounts to tie/hook to when in trailer.

Thanks for all the good ideas and suggestions.

Charles

Charles, I use the the tire nets that go over the right front and right rear tire. This way the suspension on the car works, it has worked for me quite a few years. Me and my Stude went to church yesterday, a local church had a racers day services. Mostly stock car and midget racers. The day before was raining and I washed the car and trailer and loaded the car and it was misting yesterday all day long, just unloaded it awhile ago and put it into the garage. Sure was good to drive it again.

One of our local roadster guys used to tie his car down the old way, compressing the suspension, and two years in a row had "towing" damage. I told the way most people that tow long distances is secure the tires as the main tie down and then load the suspension just enough to keep it from bouncing up and down. On my bike I use a wheel chock for the front, and tie down the siing arm. no load on the suspension.

Charles, I have used E-track over the years, if fact we sold miles of it when I was working in the truck industry. Great stuff. Lots of attachments as well. If I was doing a new trailer I would put it on the floor and the trailer side walls. Really plan the trailer design if will save you many head aches down the road.
