spray insecticide or ? around vehicle tires and ramps so
fire ants can't use them as a ladder  into said vehicles.

Infested was probably too strong a word and they were just the regular black ants. I've been avoiding fire ants for 30+ years out surveying, but only parked long enough to drop off fire extinguishers and radio at registration. Powdered laundry detergent will run them(fire ants) off, but not far.

I believe it was Renegade gas.  He had 100, 110, 112, 114 if I remember correctly. They've always been really good about gas. Even if you run out in the tech line they might be nice enough to walk down and fill you up - not that I would know about that.  I haven't seen any issues with gas class disputes. If you think you might set a record, make sure you see the gas guys and have them seal your tank before you make any runs.
