I have seen the UltraSheild seats and they are very nice.  Joe T  at DCW  sells them at a racer discount.

I was going to get one,, but due to my size and needing heavier/stronger and custom sized,, I decided to have a custom seat made by ISP  since they are local and I felt better about them measuring me and building the seat rather than me filling out a custom seat order form and mailing in.

ISP, Butler, UltraSheild, Kirkey (the high end containment, not economy)  any of these "full containment" seats would be OK,,,,the key would be what is best for your application and proper mounting.

Good luck on finishing the project soon.

John, the UltraShield is the seat we use in the "Firecracker" and it is awesome !!
It meets all the various head and shoulder restraint safety requirements right out of the box.
Our entire team would recommend it to anyone ... contact Joe at Delaware Chassis Works on (302) 378-3013.

Absolutely!  These are the seats that my race buds recommended for my Taurus.  They are being used in a lot of the high speed road cars, meets their requirements easily.

2010 VS Halo  version if you go with UltraShield...  Great Price and .100 and .125  construction

If you go with ISP

ISP 110 Super Stealth Seat with ISP 202 Stealth Head and Soulder Support System.

So this seat http://www.ultrashieldrace.com/prod.php?id=107 will pass tech and hopefully keep my rear end alive if I go for a unplanned stroll through the cotton field?

Also the seat sizes at hip measurements correct?

John,
Joe Timney usually has two different sizes of the UltraSheild seats at Maxton for inspection and purchase, so you can check them out in April when you get your car Tech Inspected.

John,

I agree with Steve,,, Go to Joe's trailer and sit in one of the seats.  That is the best advice, short of a custom fit seat.
