Question for PRO and CPRO

Can the firewall and floor be cut?  I want to cut the firewall to move the engine back.  The floor for exhust tunnel.

Andrew,,

I would not think so ??  The key word in those classes is "Production"  and from what I read that would NOT be allowed.  But do not take my comments as a ruling,,, just my opinion of how I read the rules.

not sure about the ECTA, but SCTA you cannot move the engine back in Production.  Altered yes, production is just that keep it stock... Mostly.. :cheers:

The ECTA and SCTA rules read nearly the same.  Stone stock exterior - same design engine.  Stock body panel arrangement.  Headers and intake allowed.  No streamlining.  Issue is that the headers and exhaust won't fit without moving some metal and there is 4" between the engine and the firewall.  Right now it looks like GC or GALT, but want to keep the doors open.
