Hi, think I met you at Sandhills . . .

Do you remember your time or distance?  Just interested.

Thanks!

Reichen's little 4 banger was holding its own in the z2z, here are the results if you need to see to believe but his best pass of the 3 at silverstate was 20.7 seconds in a distance of 5763.4' all done without the assistance of abs or huge fancy 8 piston brakes calipers.  And had he kept his back bumper on the car for the first pass instead of having to abort he said it would have been the fast pass.

Thanks for posting that for me John. I actually forgot the exact number until John looked it up.
I did the quickest pass on the 2nd run but on the 1st pass I really launched the car and the time would of been at least 1 sec quicker, however I still won the event by almost 600 ft over 2nd place and still have the record.
               Mike Reichen

P.S.-I forgot to mention the altitude density on that day was about 8200 ft above sea level(if anyone cares).

The year I ran the Sandhills Open Road Challenge the outright record for the road race was bumped about 30 mph by a guy in a twin turbo Viper.

The day before, this Viper did a 215.1 in the mile.  Good for second place.

A little white Evo did a 215.9mph to win.  All the Corvette drivers bowed to him.

True story.  and yes, same Mike.
