I wasn't sure if you guy's would be into this type of thing, but since Adam is and this is his thread, here are some more.
It sure is nice to be associated with a winning team, and that's just what we did.
The conclusion of the HSR racing season at Sebring resulted in the Championship points being awarded to the Robinson Racing Team, with the presentation of the coveted Rolex watch to George Robinson and co-driver Jack Baldwin.
Even though it was not for points, the Four Hours of Sebring race was a hard endurance contest, with a fastest lap time of 1:54:00 by renowned road racer Andy Wallace at the legendary 3.7 mile Sebring road course in our 2001 Riley & Scott MkIII Series C SportsRacer. After leading for most of the race, our onboard compressor overheated and shut down the paddle shifter, so George had to resort to hand shifting, until the shifter lever broke and he was stuck in second gear for two laps. After the pit stop, the crew managed to fix the problem with the compressor and we finished the race, just behind a very fast Porsche, that was running consistent laps of 1:57.
Since you can only take so many pictures of a car (which I thoroughly covered at Daytona in November), these pics are more of the crew, that makes it happen.
