i tell yea! this weather is got me at my wits end!

i have not been able to do a dam thing out in the shop since i set forth this project!

after all the snow, and now the rain here in jersey i am under water. we have been fighting with the water and holding our own for over a month now! however this past saturday we lost the battle when we lost power and the generator died. with no power [for 18hrs]  and the 15 min with no generator we got 1.5 feet of water in our just finished basement. we were able to pump out in about 2hrs and have just been holding it back.
now our front and back yards are full of water as well as our whole block! for that matter most of the town.

well atleast the shop is dry, i just need my canoe to get to it

this sucks

Looks like the forecast this week will be a lot drier than the last.
Hang in there.
Years ago when I lived in South Jersey I helped a friend sink a well.  We did it with a piece of pipe and a big hammer.  The water table in the garden state is darn near level with the surface and that's during the dry season.
Hope to see you at Maxton . . .

Glen,  well I am glad ole DW at least used a Chevy to power his roadster.  Back here, there is always a Ford vs Chevy debate,,, we solve that buy running Chevy motors (the better motor) in Ford cars (ther better looking early hot rod bodies),,, That way we can fit in with both crowds,,,

Then there is the Mopar guys !!!... man we can't go there,,,,!!!  they are wierd,,, hmm except for the Hemi guys,, they are cool...

Some of us didn't make the Bonneville 200 MPH club until our 60s. You have 20 years to go.

hey guys and gals, been real busy with work, work at a golf coarse, this is the begining of the season. we should be getting a managable work week here soon.

i am sory i missd the maxton event, my plan was to go as a spectator and say high, but the flood killed that. anyways congrats to all who made it and those record breakers. just makes me want to do it even more.

well, first sat off in a few months, got a cup uf coffee, and cant wait to get out in the garage, luckilly i built it to not get flooded! so i will sweep it out and make room for my new welding table. cant wait to set my chassis on it!

oh, ive just been notified i need to cut the grass first! what comes to mind is the scene in the worlds fastest indian.....

everyone have a great day
