sss, the sugar is in fridays tank! that sucks. besides i dont use sugar, just a little milk. sometimes a little irish whiskey.
well friday glad to here you are doing well, as sss asked how did you get sugar in the tank?.
andy simon opened a new shop, i spend alot of time there. simons competition is the name, he is running a pro stock when he can.
after i left Jesel V-Twin, i built my own home shop [patriot machine], andy and i help each other out. i mostly do cylinders, and OEM head work. and alot of hard surface welding for the local construction company's, dont ask how that happened! the shop is able to do anything , but i limit myself to what generates positive cash flow! we did build 1 chopper, and a 1921 period correct board tracker for a good friend of mine.
if you remember i bought john hammocks old small tire modified from jack hollenbeck, with the intention of running it in x-mod. however when i built my shop i needed to come up with the funds to outfit it, so i sold the engine i was building. shop is done, money is coming in and i always wanted to do LSR, so here i am.
i still run out to oh10, to see family every 4th of july, new london is the town, its next to norwalk. its a nice ride on the bikes 600 miles.
as soon as i can figure out how to use my new digital camera i will start a build diary and you can watch the progress or lack there of, LOL!
so my plan is to put a 5 year plan togather to reach my goal of 200mph. hopefully doing well enough to maybe set a record or 2 while getting there. if the LSR family is anything like the great people i have met in the drag racing community, i should have a awsome time doing it, so far it looks so!
well got to the end of the month till hunting season is over, then we start the build.
