sss and kid, skin like 1/2 diamond plate, some rust and a few holes.

i have learned alot of stuff, from alot of people, by listening. sometimes i end up more confused / dazed when i ask a question, but it all works out in the end.

just had a few friends spend the day with me, and organise the shop. will start posting pictures as soon as it is done.

well i am hungry so i will talk to you guys later

Joe, my trailer is not long enough for two cars. (and bringing up both trailers and tow rigs would be to much effort and $$$.

Most Likely, Bradley will load his bike in my rig and we come up together and hook up with Robbie and his crw for the long hike North.

Lots of time between now and late July to set our schedules.

Charles,

Barring any big disasters we will be there.  Also April Maxton.

Beyond that the season schedule is dependent on future ble$$ing$ of the racing gods.

Be looking for you at Mac's

ok, got my internet back!

friday, what you doing now? still see mark? havnt talked to him in about a year. got to give him a call.

still got that turbo dresser?

anyways

I still have the turbo dresser. I got a bad case of sugar in the gas tank and it did alot of damage. Just getting the motor back together. Mark and I split up in 2006. I am driving trucks now, doing some fab work at home, trying to make ends meet. I am selling the dresser to fund a diesel powered bike for LSR fun. Thinking about using a 1.9 VW diesel. Moved my machine shop, fab shop home in 2006. I was driving over the road til my bride got some health issues so no 3-4000 mile weeks anymore. Good luck on your project. I might get to Maxton to see what is up. I hear Andy Simon is racing a Pro Stock bike now. Friday in the snow

Runt -- sugar in the gas tank?  Unh, that's not very friendly of some donor, is it?  Or were you in bad shape one morning and thought it was your coffee cup?

sss, the sugar is in fridays tank! that sucks. besides i dont use sugar, just a little milk. sometimes a little irish whiskey.

well friday glad to here you are doing well, as sss asked how did you get sugar in the tank?.

andy simon opened a new shop, i spend alot of time there. simons competition is the name, he is running a pro stock when he can.

after i left Jesel V-Twin, i built my own home shop [patriot machine], andy and i help each other out. i mostly do cylinders, and OEM head work. and alot of hard surface welding for the local construction company's, dont ask how that happened! the shop is able to do anything , but i limit myself to what generates positive cash flow! we did build 1 chopper, and a 1921 period correct board tracker for a good friend of mine.

if you remember i bought john hammocks old small tire modified from jack hollenbeck, with the intention of running it in x-mod. however when i built my shop i needed to come up with the funds to outfit it, so i sold the engine i was building. shop is done, money is coming in and i always wanted to do LSR, so here i am.

i still run out to oh10, to see family every 4th of july, new london is the town, its next to norwalk. its a nice ride on the bikes 600 miles.

as soon as i can figure out how to use my new digital camera i will start a build diary and you can watch the progress or lack there of, LOL!

so my plan is to put a 5 year plan togather to reach my goal of 200mph. hopefully doing well enough to maybe set a record or 2 while getting there. if the LSR family is anything like the great people i have met in the drag racing community, i should have a awsome time doing it, so far it looks so!

well got to the end of the month till hunting season is over, then we start the build.

starting the build in a few days,

new question, i was planning on installing a belly pan on the bike, also a oil catch blanket of some sort, the belly pan will be a flat piece of alum fastened to the lower frame rails, it will have a small 1/2 lip. this will be even with the lower frame rails.

will this / can this be seen as some sort of streamlining? i want to run the bike in its naked configuration!

i cant wait to start! this is going to be awsome!

If it is forward of the rider then it will be considered streamlining. Do You have photos?
