So for us newbies, what happens at this event, and what awards are given?

2009 was my first time to attend this event. If you are new to the sport, it will be an opportunity to meet all the people about whom

you have heard or read. It's a big attendance and during the awards portion, you will see the people that accomplished this season

and you can seek them out following the awards.

WARNING....the entrance is from the back side. You can cruise the boulevard all night and miss it.

Nancy and I will NOT be at the SCTA awards banquet on 30 January 2010.  I'd sure appreciate it if one or two of you folks that WILL be going - will get in touch with me and promise to get a bunch of good photos and good information about what happens that night.  I want to "cover" it on this Forum - or even the front page of the site - so need your help.  I'll even give you accreditation -- so everyone will know whom to thank (or maybe to blame, hey?).

Be in touch soon, please.  If you aren't sure what I'll want for the "story" -- we will be at the USFRA banquet next weekend at Bonneville -- and I hope to report on the event -- in a manner similar to what I'd like for the SCTA banquet.

Okay, couldn't find any other thread on this, so I'm bringing this one back up...Bet it's down in the generic stuff, huh!    Anyway, the Banquet was yesterday, and no one, I mean NO ONE has said anything about how it was, so I'm asking, "How was the Banquet?"
