Schedule for November Meet

We are planning on coming to the November meet (spectating) and have a few questions in regards to when runs start(weather permitting).

What is the schedule for Sat. and Sunday, ie is Saturday all tech, morning tech/afternoon runs or morning tech and runs start in the morning also?

On Sunday, what time do runs hope to start?

Inspection on Friday after noon and Saturday morning.
Race Saturday after drivers meeting,usually around 08:30 till 3:00 pm depending on the course conditions
Sunday same starting time till ????

On Saturday morning the Course Stewards meeting is at 7am. Drivers meeting is usually at 7:10am.  Racing starts sometime soon after (7:30am ish). On Friday and Sat evening the course walk starts at 4pm (Nov meet only), as it gets dark early.

Racing continues on Sat till the course gets munched up (depending on weather, but trying to get all 1st round through at least), but from what I've seen, it closes earlyish on the Sat so they can moved the course in daylight.

It is light about 6am at the lake. Remember daylight saving started last week. Cold but beautiful weather.

No -- daylight saving time ENDED last week.  But we know what you meant, I think.

Rookie Orientation
New driver orientation will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday only (or Friday on 2-day meets) at the registration trailer. This orientation will familiarize you with proper racecourse procedures, including emergency measures.

all of you rookies do yoursalf a favor and show up for rookie orientation ON TIME WITH A VEHICLE AND A WORKING CB RADIO (not a hand held)  go to scta-bni.org go to the el mirage procedures and read them a couple of times  ---it would also be a good idea if your crew goes too            willie buchta
