Bob Shammas Accident
« on: October 03, 2009, 12:18:56 AM »
I just got some bad news from a friend of Bob Shammas. Bob raced at Maxton a few years back.
Bob was involved in a serious dirt bike accident while riding with a friend on his property last Sunday.
He is in intensive care in Michigan with major trauma.

Let's keep Bob in our prayers and hope for a speedy and full recovery.

Nancy and I send our regrets that Bob was injured while on a bike.  What a lousy bit of luck -- to be doing something he (and we all) enjoy and to come to injury.  Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Bob.

Now -- someone send him a computer and the address for this Forum thread so he can learn about how we take care of others -- and also how much fun we have doing this stuff.  If he did it a while back -- maybe a refresher will joggle his elbow and he'll return to our fold.

Oh no, best wishes for Bob, I was looking forward to seeing him again at the SEMA show soon, I hope he is healed enough to make it.

Get well Bob!
