Nancy -- 201.913 mph record on a production ZX15!

WWW
« on: September 29, 2009, 01:19:42 PM »

I've just been notified that we're facing an interruption in the internet service that hosts this site.  It's going to be between 2 and 48 hours long and there's not a danged thing I can do about it.  It's going to start, probably, tomorrow night (the 30th) and last that short - to - medium amount of time.

Stay tuned, keep clicking the refresh button, and things oughta be okay again really soon.

Sorry -- not much I can do but let you kow to be ready.  It's not your computer that's farkled.

I hope they're compensating you in some way, 2-day outages with short notice doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

Slim, when are you moving to Bora-Bora?  Nancy will love it. She can maintain a year 'round tan just

by riding her bicycle to the store.

I heard Al Gore is getting some work done to his electric meter, so the whole internet will be shut off, not just this site.

Slim:

Couldn't you have talked them into taking the 48 hrs. during WF. That way you'd have two days without any hassle to go after Nancy's hat. evil grin

If the site is down 2 hours:

A major upgrade has taken place and everything went smooth.

If the site is down 6 hours:

A major upgrade has taken place and it all went south in a hurry.

If the site is down 48 hours:

No upgrade took place. We are having a World Of Warcraft party and don't want all of the users slowing us down.
