positive fuel shut off
« on: January 17, 2010, 11:34:32 AM »
Section 2.D. says "Fuel class motorcycles must have a positive fuel shut off activated without riders hand leaving the handlebars." My question is, On a fuel injected motorcycle with an in tank fuel pump, is a switch on the bar that cuts voltage to the pump acceptable? or do I need a fuel valve installed that can be activated from the bar?
