http://www.ecta-lsr.com/?page_id=133It was misty Friday morning while we set up. It then turned to extremely muggy but not a drop of rain all weekend.
We were the last ones out of the track Saturday at nearly 7pm and just as we were leaving it started sprinkling. Perfect timing!
We had decent and constant right to left side winds and headwinds most of the day Sunday so Saturday was the better day of the two for runs.
The believers that showed up were blessed with decent weather and many runs. Greg Neal made the most at 16!
No new 200mph entries this meet and no outstandingly stupid fast runs either. It was a fun safe weekend!
I really enjoyed being head motorcycle tech in Todd's absence (he arrived late Friday night/Saturday Morning) and had the pleasure of training two new motorcycle Techs. Welcome aboard Phil Campbell and Donna Timney as two of our new techs! They did a most excellent job teching, paying close attention to detail and asking all of the right questionss when question should have been asked! Great job you two I am very proud of you and honored to have you on the tech team!
Congrats to my hunny Todd for 4 new sidecar records for team Purpose Driven Racing with the fastest at 163, 6 runs over his personal best at Maxton with 3 of them being over 220 on the Scott Guthrie Racing gas turbo bike! Way to go, I'm proud of you!!
Looking forward to next month!
